Welcome To Our School
I am very proud to lead Mt Petrie as it is an amazing small school of 85 students. The friendly, caring and supportive family atmosphere makes our school the wonderful community it is and provides a unique experience for our students, staff, parents and all the many people who contribute to our community.
Mount Petrie State School is known as a country school in the city. The size of the school allows all children to interact in a friendly and happy manner. Situated in spacious grounds with abundant trees and having an inviting natural playscape and nature walk, it presents our students with a stimulating learning environment.
Our priority is to provide students with a learning environment that is conducive to achieving an excellent standard of personal success in a global context and to equip our students with attributes for life long learning.
‘Honour Before Honours’ is our school motto of which we are very proud.
All enquiries are welcome.
